South Korean national stabbed to death in Greater Noida, live-in partner arrested
Noida: A South Korean man was allegedly stabbed to death by his Indian live-in partner in Greater Noida on Sunday, police said.
The incident came to light after the Knowledge Park police station received information from GIMS Hospital that a foreign national had been brought dead.
Police identified the deceased as Duck Hee Yuh, a South Korean citizen who was residing at ATS Pious Hideaways in Sector 150 of Gautam Buddh Nagar district.
During the investigation, police found that the man had been taken to the hospital by Lunjeana Pamai, a native of Manipur, who had been living with him in a live-in relationship for a considerable period.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman allegedly stabbed the man with a knife following a dispute, police said. A case has been registered in connection with the incident, and the accused has been arrested.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the killing, police added.
