Odisha U23 registered a comfortable seven-wicket win over Bengal U23 in their Siechem Trophy 2026 Under-23 Men’s Inter-State Multi-Day Tournament match at Siechem CAP Ground 3 in Pondicherry.
Bengal, who won the toss and elected to bat, were bowled out for 154 in 47.1 overs. Chandrahas Dash top-scored with 41 off 73 balls, while Milind Mandal contributed with 40 off 53 balls.
Odisha’s bowlers Sarthak G Panda and Saideep Mohapatra were the stars with the ball, picking up four wickets each. Panda finished with 4 for 24, while Mohapatra returned 4 for 32.
Goutam leads Odisha chase
Odisha made light work of the chase, reaching 158 for 3 in 31.3 overs to seal victory by seven wickets.
Umesh K Goutam was the standout batter, smashing an unbeaten 117 off 91 balls to guide Odisha across the line. For Bengal, Priyanshu Patel claimed two wickets.
