Pharmacist’s Day observed at SUM Ultimate Medicare

Bhubaneswar: World Pharmacist’s Day was celebrated at the SUM Ultimate Medicare here on Saturday, as the medical professionals emphasised the importance of pharmacists in the healthcare industry.

The programme was attended by Dr Swetapadma Dash, CEO, Dr (Brig) Biraj Mohan Mishra, Chief of Medical Services, Subhakanta Nayak, HOD, Pharmacy, Santosh Kumar Nayak, HOD, Clinical Pharmacology, also HODs and staff from different departments.

Awards were presented to members of the department at the conclusion of the Pharmacy Week-2021 programme, which was held from September 18 with the theme: “Pharmacy: #Alwaystrustedforyourhealth.”

The programme was conducted under strict Covid-19 guidelines and social distancing protocol.
