Chennai Super Kings scored 200 batting first at Chepauk but not enough as Punjab Kings chased it down for a thrilling four-wicket victory on Sunday.

Punjab skipper Shikhar Dhawan rates the win as “very very special”.

“Beating Chennai in Chennai is a very big thing. This shows the great character of our side, leaving that loss behind and coming up with a fresh mindset. I was very happy with the way our bowlers bowled, we got them at the right score,” Dhawan told the broadcaster after the match.

Dhoni felt the score put up by CSK was a par score but the bowling let them down eventually.

“We need to be prepared as to what is to be done. The last few overs when we were batting, we could have got 10-15 more. I think 200 was par but we bowled two bad overs.

“We know the conditions well but we didn’t bowl well. The first six overs we can do better in terms of what lines to bowl,” the CSK captain said.
