* Bhubaneswar reported 1207 new Covid positive cases and 766 recoveries in the last 24 hours, BMC informed in a tweet post.

* Cuttack city reported 198 new Covid positive cases and 481 recoveries, CMC said in a tweet.

* Odisha reported 5057 new Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, of which 667 are in the 0-18 years category. In quarantine 2932, local contacts 2125.

* Khurdha reported 1111 Covid cases, highest in any district of Odisha, followed by Cuttack (495), Sundargarh (429), Balasore (202), Sambalpur (179) and Mayurbhanj (135).

* The petrol price in Bhubaneswar was unchanged on Friday with the rate in the capital city at Rs 101.81 while diesel price at Rs 91.62.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday were Rs 102.17 and Rs 91.97, respectively.
