* Bhubaneswar reported 8 new Covid positive cases and 23 recoveries, CMC said in a tweet post.

* Odisha reported 168 new Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, of which 29 are in the 0-18 years category. In quarantine 99, local contacts 69.

* Sambalpur reported 31 new Covid cases, highest in any district of Odisha, followed by Gajapati (22), Jharsuguda (16), Sundargarh (14) and Balasore (14). The state also reported 8 deaths.

* The petrol price in Bhubaneswar was unchanged on Tuesday with the rate in the capital city at Rs 101.70 while diesel price at Rs 91.52.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Tuesday were Rs 102.31 and Rs 92.10, respectively.
