* Odisha reported 443 new Covid positive cases, of which 75 are in the 0-18 age category. In quarantine 258, local contacts 185. Khurdha district recorded highest number of Covid positive cases, 243.

* “Yesterday’s eastwest trough between 1.5 & 5.8 km above mean sea level now runs across Eastcentral Bay of Bengal from Gulf of Martaban adjoining North Andaman Sea to the cyclonic circulation associated with the above Low Pressure Area over north Telangana & neighbourhood,” informs Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre.

* “Yesterday’s Low Pressure Area over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & adjoining Telangana now lies over north Telangana & neighbourhood with the associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting south westwards with height,” Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre also informed.

* The fuel price in Bhubaneswar saw a increase of Rs 0.35 on Sunday, as the rate of petrol in the capital city was Rs 106.77 while diesel price was at Rs 103.15.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Sunday were Rs 107.29 and Rs 103.65, respectively.

* Bhubaneswar on Saturday reported 141 Covid positive cases and 189 recoveries.

* Cuttack city on Saturday reported 35 new Covid positive cases and 53 recoveries.
