* Odisha on Friday reported 524 new Covid-19 cases, taking the states caseload to 10,30,518. Four fatalities pushed the coronavirus death toll to 8,238

* Of the 524 new cases, Khurda and Cuttack reported 325, which is 62 per cent of the total cases reported during the day

* Bargarh, Boudh, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Nabarangpur and Subarnapur districts did not report any new cases

* The state’s daily test positivity rate (TPR) was 0.78 per cent

* Odisha currently has 5,111 active Covid-19 cases.

* The state has so far conducted over 2.05 crore sample tests while its positivity rate stands at 5.02 per cent

* Over 91.95 lakh people have so far been fully inoculated in the state with double dose of Covid-19 vaccine

* Bhubaneswar reported 267 new Covid cases on Thursday and 144 recoveries. Cuttack city registered 31 new Covid cases and 34 recoveries on Thursday.

* 582 people including 83 children tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

* Khurda reported the highest 282 new cases followed by Cuttack (46).

* Boudh, Malkangiri, Nuapada, Rayagada and Angul, did not report any new cases in the last 24 hours.
