Chhattisgarh beat Odisha in first T20 warm-up match

In the first match of the warm-up T20 series being played at Raipur, Chhattisgarh beat Odisha by six wickets.

Odisha senior men’s team are playing this warm-up series as part of their campaign for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

After put in to bat, Odisha scored 155 all out in 19.5 overs, with former Hong Kong player Anshuman Rath top-scoring with a 36-ball 47, Abhishek Yadav scored 31. For Chhattisgarh, Ajay Mandal picked three wickets while Pankaj Rao, Majeti Ravi Kiran and Sumit Ruikar chipped in with two wickets each.

In Chhattisgarh’s run-chase, Harpreet Singh Bhatia starred with an unbeaten 65, as for Odisha Jayanta Behera, Debabrata Pradhan and Rajesh Mohanty picked a wicket each.

The teams play their next match on October 22.
