Siba Prasad Tripathy, a member of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has been appointed manager of women’s India A team for ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup 2023. The tournament starts June 13 where India have been placed in Group A alongside Hong Kong, Thailand and Pakistan. The office-bearers of OCA congratulated Tripathy on his appointment.

Former Odisha cricketer Dr Sanjay Satpathy passed away at the age of 76 on May 16. Dr Satpathy had represented Odisha in 23 first-class matches from 1965-66 to 1975-76. He was a doctor by profession. He is survived by his wife.
