Madhya Pradesh to host ‘Tech Growth Conclave 2.0’ in Indore today, CM Mohan Yadav to launch space tech policy

Indore: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the ‘Madhya Pradesh Tech Growth Conclave 2.0’ at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore on Thursday, marking a key step toward positioning the state as a national hub for technology, innovation and investment.

Organised by the Madhya Pradesh government, the conclave aims to showcase the state’s progress in emerging technologies and highlight its vision to lead the next wave of India’s Tier-2 tech revolution.

As part of the event, chief minister Yadav will unveil the state’s new Space Technology Policy, which seeks to develop Ujjain as an upcoming centre for space innovation. The policy has been framed in alignment with national space reforms under IN-SPACe, encouraging private participation in satellite design, launch services, and remote sensing projects.

According to an official statement, Madhya Pradesh has recorded notable progress in technology, infrastructure and industrial development over the past six months. One of the major initiatives includes setting up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for drone technology, aimed at fostering research, development and startup collaboration in the sector.

During the conclave, chief minister Yadav is also expected to hold one-on-one discussions with leading industry representatives to explore new investment avenues. The state government will facilitate the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and distribute land allotment letters for new industrial projects.

Highlighting the state’s long-term vision, the government said, “Tech Growth Conclave 2.0 represents the synergy of policy, people, and progress — reinforcing Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to an innovation-driven, inclusive economy in alignment with the vision of a developed India by 2047.”
