Cuttack District Athletic Association announces ‘Gana Dauda’ on Utkal Divas

Cuttack: The Cuttack District Athletic Association has announced to organise ‘Gana Dauda’ on the occasion of Utkal Divas (April 1) on Monday at 7:00am. The event will kick off from Killa Fort, here, following a predetermined route.

Participants across different age groups are invited to join in the race. Below 12-year-olds as of April 1, 2024, are ineligible to participate. The age categories are as follows:

Junior Group (Boys & Girls): Under 16 years old as of April 1, 2024

Senior Group (Boys & Girls): Above 16 years and below 20 years old as of April 1, 2024

Men and Women: Above 20 years old as of April 1, 2024

The final date for entry submission is March 30, 2024, by 8:00pm.

The Odisha Sepak Takrow Association, located near Barabati Guest House, will be open daily from 4:00pm to 8:00pm to accept entries from March 25, 2024 to March 30, 2024. Entry submissions must be accompanied by authenticated proof of age, including Aadhar Card and an undertaking. Entrants are requested to provide clear details of their age group, date of birth and class for ease of assigning Chest Numbers.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of the various age groups.
