* Bhubaneswar reported 1065 new Covid positive cases and 675 recoveries in the last 24 hours, BMC informed in a tweet post.

* Cuttack city reported 171 new Covid positive cases and 485 recoveries, CMC said in a tweet.

* Odisha reported 5901 new Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, of which 739 are in the 0-18 years category. In quarantine 3419, local contacts 2482. The state also reported 8 deaths.

* Khurdha reported 1430 Covid cases, highest in any district of Odisha, followed by Sundargarh (545), Cuttack (402), Balasore (300), Mayurbhanj (149) and Sambalpur (138).

* The petrol price in Bhubaneswar was unchanged on Thursday with the rate in the capital city at Rs 101.81 while diesel price at Rs 91.62.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Thursday were Rs 102.17 and Rs 91.97, respectively.
