Three Odisha players named in East Zone squad for Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal One-Day Trophy

Three players from Odisha have been selected in the East Zone team for the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal One Day Trophy for the 2025–26 domestic season.

Madhuri Meheta, Sushree Dibyadarshini and Tanmayee Behera have been included in the 16-member East Zone squad. The tournament will be held in Bangalore from March 5 to 15.

The trio earned their spots after impressive performances in the recently concluded Senior Women’s One Day Trophy. Moreover, Sushree Dibyadarshini has also been appointed vice-captain of the East Zone side.

OCA president Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and secretary Sanjay Behera, along with other office-bearers, congratulated the players and extended their best wishes for the tournament.

The competition is organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India as part of its domestic calendar.
