Odisha announce 20-member squad for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025–26
Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Wednesday announced the state’s 20-member squad for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20 format) for the 2025–26 BCCI domestic season. The announcement was made by Odisha senior men’s selection committee chairperson Sourajit Mohapatra during a press meet held on Nov 19.
Senior allrounder Biplab Samantray will lead the side, while wicketkeepers Sourav Gouda and Aashirwad Swain have been included to strengthen the squad’s balance. Experienced campaigners such as Subhranshu Senapati, Rajesh Mohanty, Govinda Poddar and Soumya R Lenka also feature in the lineup.

Gaurav Choudhary, Swastik Samal, Aditya Rout, Sourav Gouda (wk), Aashirwad Swain (wk), Biplab Samantray (c), Prayash Kumar Singh, Sambit Baral, Rajesh Mohanty, Vageesh Sharma, Soumya R Lenka, Subhranshu Senapati, Subham Satrujit, Sandeep PattanaiK, Raaz Yadav, Badal Biswal, Papu Roy, Govinda Poddar, Sarbeswar Mohanty, Anil Parida.
Odisha will play their league matches in Lucknow, beginning their campaign against Kerala on November 26 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium complex. The team will then face Andhra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Railways, Assam and Mumbai in the remaining fixtures, all scheduled between November 28 and December 8.
