Driving license
Renewal of expired driving license can be done online as well as offline in India.

The most necessary requirement to drive a vehicle is to have a valid driving license. Anybody found driving with expired license, has to pay a heavy fine and may be even worse, if there is much delay. Hence, it is mandatory to renew your driving license upon expiry. A grace period of 30 days is provided after the termination of the expiry date and one should apply for the renewal process within those 30 days. Failing to do so may result in a fine, which may add up to Rs 200 to be paid during the renewal process. However, the process may vary from state to state.

Why should you renew your license?

According to the Indian Motor Act, every citizen must compulsorily hold a valid driving license to drive a vehicle in the country. Holding a valid driving license gives the citizen freedom and legal right to drive through any part of the country. Hence, driving without a proper license is a crime which makes it obligatory to renew the license.
