The Women’s Premier League (WPL 2024) will kick off on February 23 at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, featuring an opening clash between defending champions Mumbai Indians and the inaugural edition’s runners-up, Delhi Capitals.

Maintaining the format of the previous edition, WPL 2024 will witness all five participating teams facing each other twice. The team securing the top spot on the WPL points table will secure a direct berth in the final. Meanwhile, the second and third-placed teams will battle in the Eliminator, with the winner progressing to face the table-toppers in the final.

The second edition of WPL is scheduled to unfold across two venues. The initial leg of the tournament will unfold at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, while the subsequent matches, including the Eliminator and final, will take place at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. Notably, the tournament won’t feature double headers throughout its duration.
