UGC-NET December 2023 result: release date announced

UGC NET 2023 December result will be released on January 17, 2024, said the official notification issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The delay in the declaration of results from the original date of Junary 10, 2024 is because of the re-examination that had to be arranged for candidates who were affected by cyclone Michaung.

“NTA announced in the Information Bulletin that the result of UGC – NET December 2023 will be declared on 10th January 2024 but due to Natural Calamity (Michaung) in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, Re – Exam was conducted in the interest of candidates. Therefore, the Final Result of the aforementioned examination would be declared on 17th January 2024 on the website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/,” the NTA notification read.

The NTA notification further informed that the UGC-NET December 2023 exam was held in 292 cities comprising of 83 subjects. 9,45,918 candidates appeared the exams between December 6-19, last year.

1. Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in
2. Find and click the section for UGC-NET December 2023 result
3. Provide the required information such as application number and date of birth to log in to your account
4. Then go to the results section and download your UGC-NET result
5. For future reference, download and print your scorecard
