Bhubaneswar: A three-day training programme on disaster management was organised by OSDMA and H&UD department here recently, where city mission managers and community organisers from different ULBs took part.
The goal was to enhance the skills of the participants to effectively handle pandemic-like situations, and implement strategies for managing key issues during disasters.
The speakers at the programme were Sangramjit Nayak, director Municipal Administration, Sarada Prasad Panda, joint secretary & Director, SUDA , Susanta Mishra, director Town Planning from H&UD Dept, Susmita Behera, executive director from OSDMA, Lipika Dash, joint relief commissioner from SRC, Prasanta Das, director, OFDRA & chief fire officer and Subrat Mishra, deputy director, SIRD and other officials and resource persons from OSDMA, UNICEF and other agencies.
