Senior Women One-Day Trophy: Kerala beat Odisha by 28 runs

After making a winning start, Odisha lost to Kerala by 28 runs in the Senior Women One-day Trophy, being played at Puducherry on Thursday.

Kerala won the toss and opted to bat as Minnu Mani scored 47 off 61 balls and Drishya I V 40 off 45 balls to take their team’s total to 210 for 9 in 50 overs. For Odisha, Sushree Dibyadarshini and Rasanara Parwin picked three and two wickets respectively.

In the run-chase, Madhuri Meheta (39) and Sushree (37) kept Odisha in the hunt before they were all out for 182 in 44.5 overs.

For Kerala, Minnu and Keerthy K James scalped three and two wickets respectively.
