Sachin and Arjun Tendulkar become first father-son duo to play in IPL

Like father, like son – a saying which on Sunday became apt when Arjun Tendulkar made his IPL debut in Mumbai Indians match against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Arjun’s debut meant that he and his father Sachin Tendulkar became the first father-son duo to play in the IPL.

Sachin played for Mumbai Indians since the start of IPL in 2008. He was part of the Mumbai franchise till 2013 and scored 2281 runs from 76 matches.

After 10 years, his son Arjun turned up for Mumbai Indians and opened the bowling and bowled two overs, conceding 17 runs.
