Bhubaneswar: Around 150 delegates from around the country attended four pre-conference workshops held at the Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), faculty of dental sciences of SOA here on Friday, ahead of the 46th National Conference of the Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP) being organised in the city.
The workshops were planned to provide the delegates with the most advanced learning experience on courses including advances in implant dentistry and laser technology.
Dr Homa H. Zadeh from the United States was one of the speakers who shared his view and experience about new and innovative technique of gum surgery.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr Manish Khatri and Dr HS Grover, president and secretary respectively of ISP, in the presence of Dr Subash Chandra Raj, organising chairman of the conference, Dr Mohammed Jalaluddin, organising secretary, Prof Neeta Mohanty, dean of IDS, Dr Rinkee Mohanty, conference secretary, Dr Anurag Satpathy, scientific chairman and Dr Saurav Panda, conference chairman. Dr Gatha Mohanty anchored the programme.
