Petrol rate in Bhubaneswar, fuel prices in other cities of Odisha on Oct 8

The fuel price in Odisha saw a spike on Friday too, as the rate of petrol in the capital city, Bhubaneswar was Rs 104.98 while diesel price was at Rs 100.99.

In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday were Rs 104.81 and Rs 100.83, respectively.

Petrol and diesel prices are revised in India on a daily basis. The fuel prices are revised at 6 am everyday. It includes value added tax (VAT), and dealer commission.

While the VAT varies from state to state, there are many other factors that impact fuel prices. Price of crude oil, INR to USD exchange rate and demand for fuel are some of the key factors that affect petrol and diesel prices.
