Panthers beat Cheetahs to win OCL 2023
Cuttack: Badal Biswal picked a four-wicket haul as Odisha Panthers beat Odisha Cheetahs by seven wickets to win the Odisha T20 Cricket League on Wednesday.
Opting to field, the Panthers bowled out the Cheetahs for 88 in 18.4 overs with Biswal taking four wickets and Abhishek Yadav two. For the Cheetahs, Kissan Ratha (36) was the top scorer.
The Panthers chased down the total in 13.3 overs at the loss of three wickets, with Sandeep Pattanaik leading the run-chase by scoring 40 off 43 balls.
Abhishek Yadav (Odisha Panthers) was the Man of the Series. Badal Biswal (Odisha Panthers) was the Man of the Finals. Gourav Choudhary (Odisha Cheetahs) was adjudged the Best Batsman while Pradeep Pradhan (Odisha Lions) was the Best Bowler of the tournament.
