OCA promises support to 6-year-old cricket prodigy

Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) extended a token of appreciation to a six-year-old cricket sensation, Advik Jena, hailing from Puri district. Advik, already gaining recognition as a child prodigy, has captured the internet’s attention with his remarkable cricketing skills, showcased in viral videos on YouTube and Facebook.

In a modest ceremony on Wednesday, the technical director of OCA, V Venkatram, and Subrat Behera, CEO of OCA, presented Advik with a cricket kit on behalf of the association. The gifted kit aims to encourage and support the budding talent, who has displayed exceptional prowess at such a young age.

Sanjay Behera, the secretary of OCA, had a chat with Advik and his father during the ceremony. Behera expressed OCA’s commitment to providing all necessary support to nurture Advik’s talent and shape his budding cricketing career.
