Ashok Mahapatra, umpire in OCA panel.

Ashok Mahapatra, an umpire in the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) panel passed away aged 49.

A lawyer by profession, he had been active as an umpire in the cricket circuit.

He passed away in the evening of January 12 while being treated at MKCG Hospital in Berhampur.

Office bearers and members of OCA expressed their condolences on the sad and untimely demise of Mahapatra.
