The 2022 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
It was received by chairman, Odisha Hockey Promotion Council, Dilip Tirkey along with officials from DSYS and Odisha Olympic Association.
Eminent sportspersons Anuradha Biswal and Shradhanjali Samantaray were also present while welcoming the baton.
The relay baton after a stay in the capital city on Friday, will then tour Puri and Konark on Saturday before returning to Bhubaneswar for the symbolic relay at the Kalinga Stadium.
The 2022 edition of the Commonwealth Games will be held in Birmingham from 28 July to 8 August.
