Cuttack: Several one-sided contests marked day three of the OCA Inter District School Cricket Tournament 2025–26, with commanding wins registered by Bhubaneswar-B, Sonepur, Sambalpur-B, Balangir and Angul in their respective matches played across different venues here on Tuesday.
At the Ravenshaw-I Ground, Bhubaneswar-B secured an emphatic 81-run victory over Bhadrak. Batting first after winning the toss, Bhubaneswar-B were bowled out for 141 in 38.5 overs, with Anshuman Das scoring 41 off 29 balls and Omm P Nayak scoring 17 runs. Bhadrak’s bowlers, Md Farhan R Khan (2/22) and Adarsh K Bhal (2/25), shared four wickets. In reply, Bhadrak were dismissed for 60 in 23.3 overs, as Omm P Nayak (3/9) and Pratik Samantaray (3/17) ran through the batting line-up. Omm P Nayak was named stand-out performer for his all-round effort.

In the second match at Ravenshaw-II Ground, Sonepur dominated Koraput with a comprehensive 143-run win. Sonepur posted 230 for 5 in 49 overs, led by an unbeaten 73 off 93 balls from Anwesh Patra and 64 off 65 balls by Bhabatosh Biswal. Koraput were then skittled for 87 in 34.1 overs, with Bhabatosh Biswal claiming 4 for 18 and Bhawesh Banjara picking up 3 for 13. Biswal was adjudged the stand-out performer for his all-round display.
At the Gatiroutpatna Ground, Sambalpur-B registered a massive 222-run victory over Keonjhar. Batting first, Sambalpur-B piled up 289 all out in 46.5 overs, courtesy 74 each from Soumil Padhi (62 balls) and Asmit Patel (79 balls). Keonjhar were bundled out for just 67 in 19.5 overs, with Nishant Prajapati producing a fiery spell of 3 for 5, earning him the stand-out performer award.
Meanwhile, at Mula Padia Ground, Balangir chased down a modest target to beat Kalahandi by seven wickets. Kalahandi managed 128 for 7 in 49 overs, with Jaskaran Singh top-scoring with an unbeaten 56 off 132 balls. Balangir responded confidently, reaching 132 for 3 in 23.2 overs, led by Ayushmaan Baag’s 55 off 68 balls and Aditya Suna’s 34 off 33. Ayushmaan Baag was named stand-out performer for his all-round contribution.
In the final match of the day at the Driems Cricket Ground, Angul defeated Rayagada by 116 runs. Batting first, Angul were bowled out for 211 in 29.3 overs, with Akhil Pradhan scoring 85 off 67 balls and Omm Sri S Sahoo adding 41 off 29 balls. Rayagada’s chase faltered as they were dismissed for 95 in 27.3 overs. Angul’s bowling was led by Omm Sri S Sahoo (3/13) and Sai Abhilash Mishra (3/23). Omm Sri S Sahoo was named stand-out performer for his impactful all-round show.
