The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), on Monday held its Apex Council Meeting where it was decided that there will be two coaches’ pool for senior and junior group, who will be working at the Odisha Cricket Academy and subsequently attached with their respective teams during BCCI’s domestic tournaments.
Moreover, during the meeting, 10 candidates were nominated for Hybrid Level-I coaching course in two batches, one for the BCCI Curator workshop, five candidates for BCCI Umpiring Level-II course and three candidates for BCCI-NCA Level-I Strength & Conditioning Coaches workshop as part of the developmental programme.

Various developmental activity pertaining to umpires, coaches, scorers and tech analysts’ upskilling programmes will be conducted in near future, OCA informed after the meeting.
Meanwhile, it was also decided to soon resume the Men’s Super League of Kalahandi Cup and Odisha Women T20 League for the season 2022-23.
Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, president of OCA presided the meeting, with Sanjay Behera (secretary), Mehtab Khan (joint secretary), Bikash Pradhan (treasurer), Abakas Khatua (member), Rashmita Mohanty (member) and Subrat Kumar Behera (CEO), also present.
