Hayden says this Indian batsman will dominate world cricket for next decade
Shubman Gill has already established his class in world cricket and former Ausssie legend Matthew Hayden feels the Indian opener will dominate the stage for the next decade.
The hunger for big runs has seen the 23-year-old score two centuries in Tests, four in ODIs and one T20I hundred. In this year’s IPL, he already has had scored two fifties, the last being in Gujarat Titans six-wicket win over Punjab Kings on Thursday. He scored 67 off 49 balls, which was studded with seven fours and a six.

Hayden is impressed with Gill’s ability and speaking on air on Star Sports, he said: “Gujarat Titans needed someone to take responsibility and bat deep in this run chase against a quality Punjab Kings bowling attack, and Shubman Gill did just that.
“Some of the shots that he played were pleasing to the eyes. He’s such a class player and he’s going to dominate world cricket for the next decade or so.”
