Former Odisha cricketer Madan Mohan Mohanty dies at 77

Former Odisha cricketer and ex-IAS officer Madan Mohan Mohanty died aged 77 on Wednesday.

He represented Odisha in 25 first-class Ranji Trophy matches and featured in four matches in Cooch-Behar Trophy in a career spanning seasons 1959-60 and 1978-79.

As a former IAS officer, Mohanty also served as collector, secretary and principal secretary.
