Yugal Joshi is ECoR’s new principal chief security commissioner

Yugal Kishore Joshi.

Yugal Kishore Joshi has taken charge as principal chief security commissioner (PCSC) of East Coast Railway.

He joined the Indian Railways from the 1997 batch of IRPF Services.

Prior to this post, Joshi was in deputation to Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation under Ministry of Jal Shakti and worked as the director, Swachh Bharat Mission from 2016-21 and director, Jal Jeevan Mission from 2021-22.

He also worked in various posts in Railway Protection Force like director, Railway Protection Force in Railway Board from 2014-2016, Sr. divisional security commissioner in Delhi Division of Northern Railway and Howrah Division in Eastern Railway.

He has also worked as deputy chief security commissioner in ECoR from 2008-2011. He was a key member of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
