Thiruvananthapuram: Haryana registered a three-wicket win over Odisha in their Women’s U23 T20 Trophy 2025-26 match at the KCA Cricket Ground, Manglapuram, here on Thursday.
Opting to bat first, Odisha posted 131/4 in 20 overs, built on solid half-centuries from Tanmayee Behera and Alipsa Biswal.
Behera scored a brisk 55 off 46 balls with seven fours and two sixes, while Biswal contributed 54 from 55 deliveries. For Haryana, Sonia Mendhiya impressed with figures of 2 for 12 from her four overs, while Amandeep Kaur picked up one wicket.
Chasing 132, Haryana reached the target in 17.3 overs at 133/3, thanks to a match-winning knock from Sonia Mendhiya. The batter remained unbeaten on 50 off 40 balls, hitting six boundaries. Komal Bicion added a vital 28* off 22 balls to guide the chase.
For Odisha, Sreya Priyadarshini claimed 1 for 13 in her three overs, while SB Lorence took 1 for 25.
