Mumbai: Kusum Tiriya scored 91 as Odisha thrashed Sikkim by 132 runs in Women’s U-23 One-day Trophy, played at Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy here on Wednesday.
Put in to bat, Odisha got to the total of 241 for 7 in 50 overs with Kusum scoring 91 off 106 balls and GM Alakananda chipping in with a handy 46 off 41 balls. For Sikkim, Rabika Chettri and Sabita picked two wickets each.
Sikkim in the run-chase faltered by losing wickets in quick interval before being bundled out for 109 in 37.4 overs. Leeza top-scored with 34 runs while for Odisha Sonali Hembram and Bijaya L Behera took two wickets each.
