Wasim Jaffer will continue as head coach of Odisha senior men’s team for the 2022-23 season, OCA said on Thursday.
Moreover, at the CAC meeting, after reviewing profiles, R Srikanth was appointed technical director of Odisha Cricket Academy for the season 2022-23. He was picked for the post based on his rich coaching experience, expertise and credentials.
Srikanth is the only BCCI Level-3 certified coach from Odisha having rich experience in coaching for about 20 years. Prior to joining Odisha Cricket Association, he has worked as a coach with various states, NCA & ZCA.
He has also coached different age group teams of Odisha & was in-charge of Odisha Cricket Academy. He too was a former Ranji Trophy player for Odisha.
He has also educated the aspiring Level-1 & Level-2 coaches of Odisha for the NCA programmes.
