V Venkatram was appointed as the technical director of Odisha Cricket Academy on Tuesday.
A BCCI Level 3 coach has had a stint at National Cricket Academy for five years. He too was the head coach of Jharkhand, Tripura and Assam senior men’s teams. Besides being the head coach of Uttarakhand U-23 team and also the director of Assam Cricket Academy.
Venkatram has played 71 first-class matches and took 222 wickets. He had captained the Bihar Ranji Trophy team for six years.
He is going to play a key role in the development of OCA’s much ambitious programme Vision@2024 and nurturing talents throughout Odisha.
