The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the registration process for UPSC Combined Geo Scientist Exam 2022 from September 22 onwards. Those interested can check the eligibility criteria and apply online through the official websites of UPSC at upsc.gov.in or through upsconline.nic.in.
Last date: The last date to apply for the exam is October 12, 2021. Online applications can be withdrawn from October 20 to October 26. The prelims examination will be conducted on February 20, 2022.
Eligibility Criteria: Interested candidates can check the educational qualification and age limit for this exam through the detailed notification.
Fees: Candidates from general category are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 alongwith with their form either through a branch of State Bank of India or through debit card and online banking of SBI. Female candidates, those from SC/ST category and persons with disability are exempted from payment of fees.
Selection process: The selection of the candidates will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in prelims, mains and personality test/interview. The candidates who pass the prelims will be asked to appear for mains and interview/personality test.
