U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy: Odisha beat Chhattisgarh by three wickets

Odisha won their fourth match against Chhattisgarh by three wickets (VJD METHOD) in the ongoing U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy in Chandigarh.

Opting to bat, Chhattisgarh were bowled out for 148 in 42.2 overs, with batters Vasudev Bareth scoring 33 and Deepak Yadav 31. For Odisha, Shresth Singh, Saideep Mohapatra, Sushil Barik and Niranjan Gouda struck with two wickets each.

Odisha started the run-chase well with Dinesh Majhi scoring 40 before play was stopped due to rain, with the score 145 for 7 in 38.2 overs.

Odisha won the match by VJD method, and will be playing their fifth and final match against Andhra Pradesh on October 4 in Mohali.
