U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy: Delhi beat Odisha by 18 runs

Odisha lost to Delhi by 18 runs in the ongoing U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy on Friday, played at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mohali.

This was Odisha’s second defeat in three matches, after having lost their first match to Uttar Pradesh and bouncing back with a win in the second game against Bihar.

Delhi won the toss and opted to bat and were all out for 189 in 44.1 overs, with Yash Dhull scoring 84 and for Odisha Shresth Singh returning figures of 3 for 27.

In the run-chase, Md Sohail Khan top-scored with a 45 and Shresth also chipped in with a handy 25, but was not enough as Odisha were bowled out for 171 in 48.1 overs. For Delhi, Divij Mehra and Shaurya Malik picked three wickets each.

Odisha will play their fourth match on Saturday against Chhattisgarh.
