Odisha’s final match in the league stage of the U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy against Andhra Pradesh ended in a tie on Monday.
Andhra won the toss and opted to field at the I.S. Bindra Cricket Stadium in Mohali, and restricted Odisha to 195 all out in 48.5 overs.
Sai Subham scored 47, Sambit Baral 37 and Sushil Barik 37 contributed to Odisha’s total as for Andhra TA hemanth and SK Jani Basha took four and three wickets respectively.
Odisha put up a brilliant bowling performance led by Niranjan Gouda’s five-wicket haul, as Andhra were bowled out in 45.5 overs but not before the scores were tied at 195. For Andhra, M Hemanth Reddy scored 69.
