The Road Over Bridge (ROB) between Mancheswar and Vani Vihar railway station has been expedited by dismantling Old ROB.

To dismantle the Old ROB, another ROB has been constructed to handle vehicular traffic on National Highway between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Road Traffic has been diverted via new ROB after its completion.

The railways has also planned to dismantle this work before three months. Keeping in view the hockey World Cup, this work was delayed slightly.

Railways have earlier planned to complete the much-delayed project within a minimum time.

Evacuation of slum, construction of new ROB and other challenges had delayed the work earlier. On completion of third line work, the train operations in busy Barang-Khurda Road Railway Section will get benefit.

General manager, East Coast Railway Manoj Sharma congratulated the entire team for the success.
