Bhubaneswar: Sumumnoya-2023, the five-day sports meet held at SUM Ultimate Medicare (SUMUM) came to an end on Monday, with ‘Nebula Nomads’ finishing as winners.

The closing ceremony of the first-ever annual sports meet of SUMUM was attended by Tusharkanti Behera, Odisha’s minister of state for Home, Electronics and IT, Sports and Youth Services, who underlined the importance of sports.

Different institutions and organisations should also conduct such sporting events as it is not only the key to health and fitness but also helps to inculcate integrity, unity and discipline among the people, he said.

Behera distributed the prizes to the winners in the presence of Dr Swetapadma Dash, chief executive officer of SUMUM, other dignitaries and employees of SUMUM.
