State Swimming Championship kicks off in Bhubaneswar

The 61st State Swimming Championship kicked off at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

More than 200 swimmers from 16 districts of Odisha are participating in this two-day championship, which will serve as a qualification for the Nationals.

82 events were completed on the opening day of the championship at the Biju Patnaik Swimming Complex in Kalinga Stadium.

For Sunday, 58 more events are lined up, with more National qualifications events to be competed by swimmers.
