Srinibas Patnaik elected vice-president of AFI

G Srinibas Patnaik, president of Odisha Athletics Association, has been elected vice-president of Athletics Federation of India (AFI).

Patnaik was elected unanimously at the Annual General Meeting at Chandigarh, after one vacancy for the post fell vacant after the death of the previous office-bearer.

Asirbad Behera, secretary Odisha Athletics Association along with other members of the Association congratulated Patnaik. Avijit Paul, general secretary, Odisha Olympic Association also congratulated Patnaik on his new assignment.
