Srabani Nanda wins gold at National Open Athletics Championship

Srabani Nanda won gold in women’s 100 mtr.

Odisha’s Srabani Nanda bagged gold in women’s 100 mtr with a timing of 11.55 sec at the 61st National Open Athletics Championship in Bengaluru.

In the same event, Himashree Roy (Railway) won silver and Archana S Suseendran (Tamil Nadu) took the bronze.

In the men’s 100 mtr, Odisha’s Amiya Kumar Mallick finished seventh.

Meanwhile, Odisha’s men’s 4×100 mtr relay team has qualified for the final.
