SOA’s kabaddi team finishes second in inter-varsity final

Students meet SOA founder president after their campaign at inter-university sports meet.

Bhubaneswar: The men’s Kabaddi team of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) here has finished second in the 2nd Odisha Inter-University Sports meet which concluded at Cuttack on February 13.

The team which entered the final, went down to Sri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri 23-48. The sports meet was held at Ravenshaw University.

In Basketball, SOA’s men’s team lost to Utkal University 39-54 in the semifinal to finish third while Abinash Tripathy also lost in the men’s semifinal of the table tennis event to be placed third.

The participating athletes called on SOA founder president Prof (Dr) Manojranjan Nayak who congratulated the students on their performance and encouraged them to do better.
