SOA National Institute of Law hosts SOA Lex Concilium 2024

Guests and speakers at the SOA Lex Concilium-2024, held at SNIL in Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar: The SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL), faculty of law at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), recently organised a day-long event titled ‘SOA Lex Concilium-2024’ aimed at guiding students towards promising employment prospects.

Addressing the students, SOA vice-chancellor Prof Pradipta Kumar Nanda highlighted SNIL’s achievement of being ranked 8th nationally in the prestigious National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023.

The event witnessed insights from SNIL dean Prof SAK Azad, dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof Jyoti Ranjan Das and director of Corporate Affairs, Ripti Ranjan Dash.

Two insightful panel discussions were conducted during the programme. The first session delved into ‘Emerging Trends in Legal Technology,’ featuring industry experts such as Bikash Kumar, Prashant Panda, Abhishek Singila, Manaswini Mishra and Chaitanya Mahajan.

The second panel explored ‘Diverse Career Paths for Law Graduates,’ with speakers including Puja Roy, Dr Himanshu Puri, Abha Kashyap, Vipin Pathak and Jai Rakshita.

The event also saw the presence of SNIL senior professors Prof Prabir Patnaik and Prof Madhusudan Das.
