SOA founder president’s mother passes away

Bhubaneswar: Satyabhama Nayak, mother of Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak, founder president of Siksha ‘O’Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, passed away here on Thursday. She was 82.

Survived by six sons and three daughters, she was suffering from old age related ailments for the last three years. Her last rites were performed at Swargadwar at Puri.

SOA vice-chancellor Prof. AK Mahapatra, deans, faculty members and senior officials of the university and many prominent persons visited her Kalinga Nagar residence to offer their condolences.
