A seminar to spread awareness about financial markets was held at SOA.
Bhubaneswar: A regional seminar to spread awareness about the financial markets was organised at the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), SOA’s faculty of management sciences, on Saturday.
The event, organised to mark the Global Money Week, was attended by students of the institute.
Anshuman Das, Deputy General Manager of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Somnath Majumdar of Central Depository Services (India) Ltd (CDSL) and Soumya Ranjan Sahoo of BSE were the resource persons.
They spoke on different issues related to the financial markets and explained to the younger generation as to how the markets were safe for investment. They also conducted a creative art and tagline competition on ‘Investing in Indian Capital Markets’.
