In reply to Odisha’s first innings score of 284, Mumbai at stumps on day two were 259 for 3, trailing by 25 runs in an Elite-D group Ranji Trophy match in Ahmedabad.
Resuming at an overnight score of 250 for 6, Odisha were bundled out for 284 with Mohit Avasthi picking three wickets. For Odisha, Shantanu Mishra top-scored with 89.
Sarfaraz Khan (107) and Armaan Jaffer (77) were unbeaten at the end of second day’s play, with Rajesh Mohanty chipping in with three wickets for Odisha.
